We then were taken to the boat cruise for lunch, which was a disappointment. You have to be careful to get back on the bus quickly because the driver will pull off, somewhat nerve-wrecking. We felt a little rushed however during the city market shopping time allowance (45 mins), because you really need more time to browse definitely. When we arrived in Charleston and were picked up by the horse carriages, it was amazing to take a tour of the city landmarks and our tour guide Glen was so knowledgeable. We went on the perfect day, beautiful weather which added to the trip. Our driver Harold was definitely time-conscious on every stop, but he was a great driver and very professional. We left promptly at 7:00am to head out on the bus. So my mother and I had a chance to take this tour on this past Thursday.
